QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

We don’t mix our milk with anyone else’s, and we wouldn’t dream of adding water to it to increase the volume.

Other no-nos:

No hormones
No antibiotics
No pesticides
No other additives

Our milk is simply milk. Just like in the good old days.

So, what do we do, you might be wondering?

The (short) journey of our milk

Milk needn’t be on the mooove for too long.

Our milk goes from our grass to your glass without going on a tour of any external processing or bottling plants along the way.

STEP 1. PROVIDE A HAPPY PLACE FOR THE COWS

Our free-range herd grazes on lush natural pastures year-round and is cared for by local dairy farmers and third-generation owners. The terroir leads to delicious milk, every time.

Step 2. Work with the environment, not against it

Our methods are green, just like our grass. We keep our carbon footprint low by following best practices for land management. We don’t need fertilizers or petrochemicals. We support fellow Australian businesses and use locally made PET bottles.

STEP 3. COLLECT THE MILK

Our milk comes from 3 breeds within our herd and stays on-farm for further treatment. No outsourcing here- we do all the work ourselves to make sure we can guarantee the purity of our milk.

STEP 4. Separate and standardise

This step separates the cream from the milk and gets rid of any impurities that might have snuck in, like bits of dirt or grass. Then, the cream and milk are reunited to ensure standard fat and protein goodness.

STEP 5a. Homogenise for smooth, creamy milk

This is where we break the fat particles down, so they spread evenly throughout the milk for a thick and delicious consistency.

STEP 5b. Leave the cream on top

We also do non-homogenised milk for all the fans of rich, silky milk that has a sweet cream flavour. Try them both and tell us which you like better.

STEP 6. GIT RID OF THE NASTIES

We pasteurise our milk so that it’s not only delicious but also safe to drink. The heating process gets rid of pathogens while keeping the amazing flavour. This also extends the shelf life.

STEP 7. Bottle the milk on -farm

Our milk is poured into recyclable bottles and refrigerated right away for immediate delivery to our stockists. It moves from udder to bottle in less than 24 hours, ensuring you get the freshest milk possible.

STEP 8. The only thing left to do is bring the bottles to you!
